Jordan Clements
Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Autsin. He is a diversely trained chemist with research experience in chemical biology, virtual drug discovery, microfluidics, chemical process developemt and analytical chemistry. Jordan has experience working in both academic and industrial chemistry labs. He has co-authored two peer-reviewed journal articles and is a first inventor onva patent pending technology. He is currently an analytical chemist at global R&D center. While he loves research, Jordan is passionate about mentoring and tutoring students of the next generation. He has been tutoring for a total of 5 years and 50 students ranging from elementary to university students. Jordan enjoys challenging students to reach beyond their academic goals and to achieve a deep understanding and appreciation for STEM subjects. Jordan is building Catalyst Academy with the vision of giving afforable academic mentoring to students to help them unlock their full potential now and in their future endeavors. Jordan believes mentoring and hands-on learning play a crucial role in student’s success. When not tutoring or in the lab Jordan can be found dancing, singing and playing with his wife, two daughters and dog.

Abby Carlton
Abby is a PhD student in biomedical engineering at NC state and UNC-Chapel hill and has a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry. Her graduate research is very interdisciplinary, she was recently rewarded an NSF graduate research fellowship. She is proficient to tutor life sciences and mathematics through calculus III. Abby brings over three years of tutoring/mentoring experience in which she was worked with 10 students for over 500 hours. Her experience ranges from elementary to non-traditional students. In her free time, Abby enjoys combat sports, which she has done her entire life.

Saanvi is a recent graduate from UNC Chapel hill with a bachelor’s in chemistry. She plans to pursue further education and is passionate about helping students develop a strong understanding of science. She has over five years of tutoring experience, starting with the princeton review before tutoring independently. She has worked with students from a variety of ages and back grounds. Her specialty is chemisty. She is great at tailoring each students learning style and strives to make science approachable, engaging and enjoyable while helping studnets build conficence and succeed academically. She has tutored over 30 students.
Pritash Patel
Tutor: MathPritash graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s in chemical engineering and currently works in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. He has several years of experience tutoring mathematics, specializing in AP Calculus AB/BC, Calculus I, II, III as well as other college level math courses. He has worked with over 30 students through his university and online platforms. He has over 500 hours of tutoring experience.
Jereuh Ingua
Jereuh is a civil engineering graduate and has been a full-time tutor for over five years. He has helped 500+ students ranging form elementary school through college achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction. He specializes in STEM subjects and focuses on building strong fundamentals, problem-solving skills and confidence in his students for them to succeed independently. He has worked with students in US, Canada, Austrlia, UK and Phillippines. He is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in psychology to help deepen his understnding of how students learn.

Aisha is a third-year medical student and a veteran tutor. She has over 2,500 tutoring hours at the college and uniersity level. She also is an MCAT tutor. She specializes in science and reading comprehension. She provides personalized study plans and support with challenging concepts. Her student-centerd approach helps learners build confidence, improve comprehension and strengthen their acadmeic performance.

Mia has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and is currently a 2nd year Ph.D. student in the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at NC State University. She has a strong background in mathematics and science. Mia can tutor math of all levels up to Calculus 2, statistics, general science courses, and highschool/college chemistry. Her goal is always to provide students with a strong foundation in the subject and give them the skills needed to problem solve when challenges arise.
